Cabin Comfort Systems

Flight Environments employs a multi-tier insulation system to provide the most efficient noise reduction available without adding excess weight. The inter-structure blanket system uses Double-Glazing technology to maximize acoustic efficiency. Designed in an easy to install kit form, the insulation is provided with prefabricated parts that fit snugly between frames and hat-stringers, treating the entire cabin and floor, and is customized to optimize acoustic performance. Normal installation time is reduced by an average of 60% from other insulation materials and packages currently available. Due to its specific configuration, each aircraft model produces unique acoustic signatures. Airframe and powerplant configurations, interiors, flight systems, and flight routines all affect cabin noise significantly. With this in mind, there is no single way to treat an airplane. All positions of the aircraft must be taken into account as a separate and distinct source of noise and treated accordingly.
