To insure the maximum performance of any aircraft's insulation system, detailed engineering plays a crucial role. Unfortunately, most companies have been "comfortable" with the status quo, using one type of insulation application for the entire aircraft. Flight Environments has applied a new and advanced scientific approach to insulation.

Common sense would dictate that no one product, or one combination of products, can reject the numerous varying frequencies which penetrate an aircraft on a constant basis. Yet for the past thirty years, most aircraft have been treated in this matter without upgrading any materials.

Flight Environments has cured this problem. Using advanced recording equipment, Flight Environments engineers record the various frequencies inside an aircraft at detailed preset positions.

Then, by physically measuring the aircraft structure and translating the data into CAD, the acoustic data is applied though the Flight Environments custom modeling program to deliver a CAD drawing with the various penetrating frequencies overlaid, associating specific noise profiles to each area of the aircraft.

Our materials experts then select from a cadre of more than 80 different material combinations to attenuate each area of the aircraft properly, achieving the ultimate in quiet. Most of these materials have been developed by Flight Environments and are not available from any other source.

Once the design is established in our computers, the data is electronically distributed to our production floor where the kit is manufactured and, simultaneously, the data is transmitted to a related database for future parts support and customer service.

A detailed and easy-to-read installation manual accompanies every kit, along with a complete technical file encompassing all the necessary material lot and batch tracking data, weight and balance information, maintenance information, and continued airworthiness instructions. Certification proving compliance to the applicable FAR's is also supplied.

To go one step further in Flight Environments goal of "maximum customer service", Flight Environments has a unique feature on our Website.

Each customer is given a password to the Engineering section of our Website. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all the installation manuals and technical data are available for each Cabin Comfort System purchased.
